Not sure what to say?

Dear Linda, Anna and Whitney; Barry was a friend, boss and mentor of mine for many years. He was someone to laugh with, have a great conversation about kids with, problem solve with and most of all listen to him talk about you three. He loved all of you so very much and his life on the farm. Thank you for sharing him with so many. Love, Carol & Todd Kemhus

We have know Barry for over 40 years. Our relationship began professionally and became a long time couple friendship. So many wonderful memories of dinner parties with the couples of the dream team and that week long trip cruising the San Juan Islands was unforgettable. We will always remember his intelligence, work ethic and of course his sense of humor. He was known as "Mr. Fixed" he could build and fix just about any thing. Our condolences go out to Linda and her family.

Dear Linda, and daughters, Barry wa a one of a kind man. So welcoming and caring, and as his intimate family you all were beneficiaries of this. He will be missed, and most of all remembered most fondly.

Sadly I won´t be able to attend Barry´s service as I´ll be out of town then. I was a member of the Oregon City school board when we made Barry principal of the high school, assistant superintendent, and then superintendent of the district. Always positive, open to new ideas, strict but fair, great sense of humor, and committed to educating students. Couple that with his award winning smile, warmth, openness, and friendliness and you knew you had a quality person and friend. Social times...

I met Barry and his immediate family after his retirement. Let me assure his friends that his smile was still there after so many years of work and giving and fun with his family. I so enjoyed sharing stories with him about travels and David Douglas High School years. Thank you Rotrock Family for your graciousness and humor and I pray you find comfort in your memories of this gifted man.

Barry always had a smile wherever he went. Al and I were in the Optimist Club with him, where we shared his love for area youth. He was a great addition to our schools and a kind and generous man. Our prayers are with each of you and we hope special memories bring you comfort and joy. Connie & Al Kitzmiller
