Not sure what to say?

My name is Dr Peter Ilowite. I am a dermatologist from Saddle Brook and a bit younger than Dr Barry. Dr Barry became my first “reallly good” pulmonologist as I suffered from asthma as a child,
9/11 I was a rescue doctor at the WTC hours after the attack and I suffered an MVA that also damaged my pulmonary function.

Early in the millennium, I was referred to him by a friend of my family . Dr Barry was a wonderful doctor and as time continued, we became friends. it was...

Family of Dr Barry Sakowitz, I have been a patient for over 35 years. Barry took care of me when I was pregnant with my daughter and was hospitalized. Over the years I was often in the hospital at least two weeks at a time twice a year. He always always had the right cocktail for me to get better. Please know he was a caring giving devoted doctor and anyone that is proud to be his patient. My condolences for your mother also. This is a terrible fate for both of them. I am now living in...

I was so devastated to hear of the passing of Dr. Sakowitz. As one of his patients, I was always so reassured by his professional knowledge, kindness, patience, and thoroughness. This is a terrible loss to the medical community.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
May he rest in peace.

My deepest condolence to the Sakowitz family .

Dr. Sakowitz was the most caring human being anybody could have as a doctor. Always made time to chat and listen no matter how busy he was. My husband and I always looked forward to our visits. He loved his patience and made everyone feel special. He would always speak of his family and convey the love he had for them. He was truly a amazing and spiritual person. Leaving a void in everyone's heart.

My sincere condolences to the Sakowitz family. Dr Sakowitz was my moms physician. As wonderful a clinician as he was, it was his beautiful spirit and compassion that I remember most vividly. He was funny, honest, incredibly intelligent and spoke so lovingly and proudly of his children and grandkids. May he Rest In Peace.
