Not sure what to say?

Barry was my first supervisor when I worked at the Hartford in the late 70's. He was a wonderful, kind, funny man and the most loyal friend I've ever had. I learned much about the insurance business from him, but even more about life. His was truly a life well lived. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Bye, Slim.

Family and Friends

Jeanne and I extend sincere sympathy at Barry's passing. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with Barry for 12 years. He was a good and decent man who will be missed by all who knew him. Our prayers are with you and with Barry.

my deepest condolences to the somerville family. may he rest in peace.

Ron, his passing brought back a flood of memories - all positive and happy - of our days as clasmates at Oliver Ames H.S.'53. My fondness for him knows no bounds and I am deeply saddened by his death. He meant more to me than words can express. I'll be thinking of both of you for a long time from now. Be good to yourself during this difficult period. And to him, goodbye dear friend, you brought much joy to the world - and the world is better for it.

To the family and friends of Barry: I was shocked to learn of Barry's death. He was one of the most courteous and cheerful professionals I knew. Always the gentleman, he was always positive and even jovial. It was a pleasure to be in his presence or just discussing a professional liabliity case with Barry on the phone. Whenever you could tear him away for lunch it was an opportunity for Barry to discuss his latest automobile or next planned acquisition. When Tom Philo emailed me of his...

A great friend and co-worker. I will miss his luncheons. Bill Sullivan {Yarmouthport]

Ron & Betty,
Dale & I extend our condolances to you and will keep you in our prayers. Working with Barry for 13 years was both a privilege and a pleasure. He was the consumate gentleman, a loyal friend and had unmatched integrity. His sharp wit and dry humor was one of his many qualities. He will be missed by all who had the good fortune of knowing him.

Somerville Family,

Please accept my deepest sympathies on your loss. I met Barry years ago when he worked with my father at the Hartford.
