Barry Ronald Straub

Barry and I met in a men's group in the early 1990s and we remained friends for many years. He attended my mid life graduation from nursing school, when I only invited those most important in my life. He attended my father's funeral in Sept 2003. I have a picture in my home of Barry and my dad and just looked at it today. It's rather surreal that I felt compelled to look Barry up online, today 07/18/24, and sadly just learned of his passing. Barry and I went to a very frigid, rain soaked PSU...

So sorry to hear of "sarge" passing. Bob and I were reminiscing about him this afternoon. Such a happy and kind person. Thoughts and prayers to his family. Rest in peace my friend.

A great guy, always smiling & got along well with all. Prayers for family & friends. Angels among us with many classmates watching over us. RIP Barry, wish you could have come to our luncheons we held once a month with our class members who attended.

Schoolmates since the age of 8 and in all those years he never changed. Always smiling, laughing and helping those in need. Heaven has a new angel to watch over his family. Fly free my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with your family
