Just heard today the sad news of Barry's passing. He was a great guy who was a BCCC colleague of mine for many years. He was a cheerful guy who I know will be missed by all those who knew him, especially his students and fellow workers.

I have such fond memories of Barry as a HECA colleague and a friend. I think about how proud he was to tell me about his kids & grandchildren as well as business advice and suggestions to help me develop as a professional. Ever a twinkle in his eye, I remember the HECA social on a boat on Lake Erie. We laughed and talked and enjoyed a wonderful evening. My sympathies are with all of his family whom he loved so much.

I know Barry only in passing, but my heart goes out to his family and others who were so close to him. Blessings.
