Barry (Thunder) was an inspiration to everyone he met! RIP THUNDER!

Barry was a great guy to have on backing you up - whether it was on your basketball team or life in general. A good man and positive influence on all those around him. He will be sorely missed. Please accept my condolences on his passing. May God bless you with the strength to get through these difficult times. With sympathy and prayer

Bear, so sorry for your loss of your Dad. He was a great guy, always a smile and something positive to say , maybe even a suggestion! He was always a face I was glad to see. Great memories. My condolences. Tim

Barry and I were pioneers in Fayetteville. We were in the same class in elementary school. Small class size and the same teachers. I believe we were the first first grade class in the "new" Fayetteville Elementary. After 6th we went our separate ways. I remember him to be a good guy. Fair Winds!

TO THE THORNTON FAMILY, SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF BARRY. A GENTLE SOUL & GREAT PERSON. ALWAYS GREAT TO TALK WITH. REST IN PEACE BARRY. BOBBY HAYES

So sorry to hear of Barry's passing. My condolences to his Family, my prayers are with you all. Barry was a gentleman, as I knew him from coaching in Westvale. He was a pleasure to be with and have a laugh, for his smile was contagious. Rest in Peace, Barry. You made many who knew you happy.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Barry was a joy to be around. When we played golf together in Florida, it was always 18 holes of stories from our days as kids in Syracuse. I am 8 years older than Barry but none the less, our experiences in Syracuse are what brought us together. My condolences to his family and all that knew and enjoyed his company. I realize how difficult it is to lose a loved one but I am sure that because of the type man Barry was, that he now is in a better place. RIP my friend. Bill Sanford
