Barry Wall

My memories of Barry are of he and Joanne sitting at the kitchen table at my parents house. They were always laughing and having fun , I know my parents were very fond of Barry and all the good times they all had together. . I wish Joanne and all the family peace and beautiful memories

Jo-Ann and Wall family. I am so very sorry to learn of Barry's passing. I worked with Barry for many years at NUWC and he was both a mentor and good friend to me. One of the most brilliant men I have ever known, a brilliant mathematician, systems engineer, and innovator in the field of undersea acoustics and tracking systems for the US Navy. I first met Barry when we both were in the Engineering Cooperative Work Study program at NUSC and URI. He was a year ahead of me. While at URI I got myself (marginally) on the track team; Barry was a star high jumper on that team. Man that guy could jump!

At NUSC he stood out as a outstanding systems analyst/engineer and highly competent technical writer. No task was too complex for him.

Barry was always a soft spoken, gentle man with a great sense of humor. I look back on...
