Barry Wingard MD, MS, FACS

Barry and I were classmates in medical school at the University of Pittsburgh. He was a kind and introspective colleague in those days, clearly focused on becoming an excellent and caring physician, a task which he clearly accomplished. Condolences to his family.

Dear Jane, Two memories of Barry are embedded in my heart: his deep love for God and the scriptures; and his servant heart. I fondly remember he and Fred discussing the Word one day, and the Parable of the Lost Son. Each of them encouraged and enlightened. Years later, Barry´s servant heart was needed as Fred became ill. Linda and I wish to extend prayers of comfort to Jane and Barry's family. I will certainly miss our afternoon conversations when Barry made his daily trek to the mail box. He was a wonderful neighbor and will truly be missed. Barry you fought a courageous battle and the Lord found it time to call you home and relieve you of your pain. Eternal Peace is now yours.
