Bart Dufrene, Jr., 35, a native and resident of Bayou Gauche, went home to be with our loving Lord, on Monday, November 28, 2016. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, December 2, 2016 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery, Bayou Gauche, LA. He is survived by his wife Kyla Lunk Dufrene; sons, Jayke Dufrene, Greyson Dufrene; daughter, Kylie Dufrene; parents, Bart Dufrene, Sr. (Joanne); Sarah Abadie (Robert); sister, Megan Dufrene Loupe (Ryan); grandparents, Dolores Isken, Allen and Jeanne Dufrene. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry P. Zeringue and great grandmother, Sarah Wheeler. Bart loved hunting, outdoors and was a member of NHRA Drag Racing.
