McWilliams Funeral Home - Wellston Obituary

Bart Andrew Wiseman, age 46, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021.  He was born July 1, 1975 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Connie Faye Barton Pelletier and Ottie Van Wiseman.  Bart graduated from Vinton County High School with the class of 1994.  He was a well known musician, songwriter and entertainer whose musical and vocal talent was enjoyed and respected by all.  To know Bart was to love Bart.  His loving, kind, humorous, intelligent and very giving personality made Bart the "larger than life" person that he was.  Bart was known to sacrifice family time in order to volunteer numerous hours for others, whether it be performing at benefits and fundraisers, working with the youth in the community, or delivering meals to those in need in the summer.  Along with giving private guitar lessons, Bart also started the Sonic Rhythm Academy Music Program, where he gave free music lessons to children.  Bart was the life of the party, and now the party will never be the same.  He is survived by his parents, Connie and John Pelletier; wife, Megan Peters-Wiseman; son, Barton Wiseman; sisters, Britney Pelletier and Jona Bates (Jeffery); brothers, Ryan Pelletier (Ashley) and Michael Pelletier (Melissa); special great-aunt, Jo-Anne Conkle; along with several nieces and nephews, including his special buddy, Joel Pelletier.  Bart was preceded in death by his father.  Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 8th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Wellston with Pastor Troy Ervin officiating.  Private burial for the family will follow in the Byer Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers or for those who wish, contributions can be given to the McWilliams Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
