Daddy & Myself at His Grandaughter Sarah's Wedding
Bartel Herbert Floercky was the Greatest Man whomever lived in my eyes. He was....My Daddy, My best friend, My hero! He Loved Life, traveling, or just staying home to watch the old movies that he loved so dearly! I miss him every second of every minute of each day. I have been the luckiest little girl in the world to have him for my daddy....Forever your Kiki!

I first met Bart after we finished boot camp. He shipped to Europe and LST's, I to the Pacific and anphibious. I contacted him last year after seeing his name in the Elks blog, and we got together for a few hours and traded war stories. One by one we're dying off, but each of us will have left a legacy for our kids,of the greatest generation. My condolences.
