My mother met Buddy in San Diego, when she was 18 yrs old. She was a new Marine wife and she was selling War Bonds door to door with her landlady. Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your father. I think of your family whenever I think of our life on Millwood Road - sitting in the kitchen with your mother (and mine), and listening to your father's music. How lucky you are that he lived such a long and productive life. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Mr. LaRocca was a very intelligent and colorful person, and a dear friend to my parents. The sound of a marching band playing a military song has always reminded me of Buddy......and I have many fond memories of the LaRocca clan! What a long and wonderful life he had!! Michele (Mott) Lockwood

Bart was a good friend and mentor. I do wish I had met him much earlier.

While never having met Mr. Larocca, he sounds like he was a truly wonderful man who will be missed. A Marine and musician and married for 63 combined years....what a full and wonderful life he must have led. My condolences to the family.
