Seeing this photo of Bart brings back many good memories of the years at Tasty. At one point we used to car pool and he had such a great personality. Fun to be around. A true gentleman!!

Ken, As a retired member from your Department, this sad news was relayed to me. I remember when you would share fond memories of your youth/family during our department meetings and what a close family you are. Please accept my deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Bart will never be forgotten by me as he played an important role in part of my life. My husband Carmen and I had some of the best times in our lives playing cards with Bart and Izzy and also going away with them. Carmen is also gone now and I know they are both are in heaven now joking with each other

Uncle Bart you will be missed by all. That smile and charm you had was a wonderful way about you. Every time there was a family gathering you could tell Uncle Bart was there everyone would be around him laughing and joking and having a good time. You where an inspiration to us all. We are so blessed to be your Niece's and Nephew's.
Our deepest love & condolences to the entire McDermott family.
With our deepest love and sympathy.
