Not sure what to say?

He gave me my first haircut and cut my hair until I was 12 and moved away. I loved the smell of his pipe. He will always be missed.

Dear Marilyn,
I'm so sorry to hear about Barty. He was like a grandfather to me. Always there for advice and to make you laugh. He's in a good place. Please call if there's anything I can do. I'll always remember him and miss him dearly.

Marilyn and family,
I am the guy who saw the painting of Barty in the art museum. He went from being a barber to being a friend. Never before have I looked forward to having my hair cut. I hope you will find peace knowing that he is beyond those final days of pain.

I use to help my friend deliver the east penn press and everytime we went into the barbershop there was barty always laughin up a storm. He always gave us each a dollar for delivering his newspaper, he was a good man..thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have not lived in Emmaus since I was a young kid. I used to love going with my father to see Barty and get my hair cut. I know my grandfather got his hair cut there as well. He was an icon in the area. I am truly sorry for your loss, but know it was a loss to all.

Dear Marilyn and family, You're in our thoughts and prayers. We think of Bart every day when we pass his barber shop. Emmaus won't seem the same without him. We'd always beep the horn when we'd see him walking in town and that smile he'd flash will remain with us always. Marilyn, our children, Andrew and Alicia, always enjoyed being in your Sunday School classes. You are very special to our family. You're in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Bruce, Brenda, Andrew and Alicia Stiles

Marilyn: I always enjoyed the times I shared with you and Barty. I will continue to treasure those memories and Barty for the rest of my life. The parties, the humor, sitting in your kitchen, and the barbershop banter are small yet significant examples of my connections to the world of Barty and Marilyn. Remember, the many friends that you have and who will not soon forget the very real person that he was.

Marilyn,
So very sorry for your loss. I knew Barty for over 30 years and truly enjoyed my visits for not only the haircut but solving the local and world problems. I will always remember Barty for his many, many golf outfits and shoes colored for every occasion. He will be missed by all.

SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR LOSS, I KNOW THAT HE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU.
