Not sure what to say?

I had the honor of working - albeit briefly - with the amazing Bart Kamen - really one of the founders of Metronomics in Cancer I also got to meet Ruth & even stay with them at their house in NJ. I have always wanted to reconnect with Ruth (my wife of fifty years is also Ruth) [email protected] 617 834 3863

This is Ozzie and reaching out to Ruth and Libby. Sending love and gratitude. I m hoping to reconnect with you. [email protected] I hope to thank you for all you did for me, and reconnect.

I thought of this great sweet man again and I wish all he loved so well the healing that he so freely and lovingly gave to strangers and others.

I thought of Dr. Kamen today and decided to look him up. I'm so sorry for your loss. He was my son's oncologist at Children's Hospital in Dallas Texas. My son was 2 1/2 years old and was diagnosed with ALL...he is 34 years old. Dr. Kamen was a blessing.... we still talk about him and his magical tricks. Cindy Jones

Im so sorry to hear about this. Dr Kamen treated my first husband for recurrent medulla blastoma in 2007, he passed away in November 2007. Dr Kamen was so wonderful and treated us like family. He will be missed. I thought of him often over the years.

This saddens my heart. Dr Kamen was my daughters Oncologist at Children's Medical in Dallas Texas. The relationship he had with my little girl was a special one. His daughter Libby was very close to the age of my daughter. He and I kept in touch after my little girl lost her battle with cancer and he always refered to the picture he said he kept in his office of her and him (her being upside down and tounge out of coarse). My deepest sympathy to the Kamen family and know your husband/father...

I am shocked. What a loss. Just Googled Libby and saw this news. We still think of your family often. Your old neighbors in Plano,
Ron & Cindy Scott

Dr. Kamen was one of my heroes! I worked with him at Children's in Dallas (Cancer Registry). I still quote him saying "The only stupid question is the one not asked." He was so encouraging and kind to everyone! I send prayers for his family. Anita (Raidy) Eads

As a student at CWRU back in 1966-1970, I shared the pleasure of Bart's friendship. At the time I was also Pre-Med and Bart was always there to help me with my studies. He also shared dinner at my parents' home and celebrated my wedding day in June, 1971.
I have not kept in contact with Bart, but his name comes up in conversations as a wonderful person who helped me pass Physics.
I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers and feel honored to have know such a fantastic...
