Barton Paul Simon

I met Bart when I worked at NILS six years ago. I had the privelege of working next to him while I was there. He helped ease me in by constantly answering my questions. He also had a wonderfully quirky and sardonic sense of humor that I really enjoyed and I always felt priveleged that I got to see it as I had at first thought that Bart was quiet...I soon learned he just knew how to speak quietly as to not attract undue attention (as I was always the one getting in trouble for being loud)....

Bart was a mentor to me when I worked at NILS from 1996 to 2000. He was very gifted at the process of typesetting at this company and even moreso when it came to assiting others. I especially enjoyed his passion for guitar music and equipment. There was no amplifier on the planet that he didn't seem to know about, or want to know more.
