Dit and Susan,
I just now heard of Bascom's death and can only imagine how exceptionally difficult this is for you both. I know that Bascom was truly at the center of all that is important to you. And the time I spent with him easily demonstrated why he was all he was to you both. My heart, my love and my sympathy are extended to you.

We are very sorry to learn about the sudden loss of your son and our condolences go out to you and to his partner Claire. We remember Bascom from Sheridan school where we saw him growing up - till he was ready to go to GDS. A boy who very friendly and polite, with his ever ready big smile and his enthusiasm on the playground and Sheridan's basketball court. We are thinking of you.
