Rest in Peace!

Hello Susan & Dit,

My memories of Bascom are of a vivacious, creative 5 year old at NCRC. I am so very sorry to hear of his death. Your grief must feel like it has no end - may God give you what you need to console your soul.

Dear Susan and Dit,
We send our sincere condolences to you. I can see Bascom on the Sheridan basketball court like it was yesterday. He had such a joy about him and his smile was contagious. You are in our thoughts, Polly, Howard, Schafer, Eleanor and Caroline Bomstein

Dear Susan and Dit,
My heart goes out to both of you. Bascom was a special young man, and I hope that time will bring you peace with this loss.

Dear Dit,

I've just learned of your devastating loss. I'm so very sorry that you and your family have this agnonizing grief from not having Bascom in your midst. I remember well your joy, pride and delight in the fact and growth of your son. My prayers are full that your breathtaking grief is supported by all who know you and know Bascom, so that you're not alone.

With love,
Beverly Popek

Dit and Susan,
I just now heard of Bascom's death and can only imagine how exceptionally difficult this is for you both. I know that Bascom was truly at the center of all that is important to you. And the time I spent with him easily demonstrated why he was all he was to you both. My heart, my love and my sympathy are extended to you.

Broken Hearted

We are very sorry to learn about the sudden loss of your son and our condolences go out to you and to his partner Claire. We remember Bascom from Sheridan school where we saw him growing up - till he was ready to go to GDS. A boy who very friendly and polite, with his ever ready big smile and his enthusiasm on the playground and Sheridan's basketball court. We are thinking of you. Georgine and Reyaz Ahmad (parents of Yasmine, class of 2001 at Sheridan school)
