Not sure what to say?

I'd like to say thankyou to everyone for visiting this site. And sharing your loving memories of my father. He was my best friend, I miss him so very much. Every time I drive my new car, I'm reminded of him. He believed in me when I didn't. Especially when I drove it in traffic for the first time, I was so scared. He told me to relax and to take it easy. I love you dad.

Thanks to all who have signed Basil's guest book. I know he was truly loved by so many people - he certainly was a very special man. I feel so fortunate to have had him in my life. He gave me "extra" family & I love them all. I miss his beautiful face & hearing his voice, but he is not in pain now. Just knowing that gives us all great comfort - he fought so hard & had such a rough time. My heart ached for him through the whole ordeal.

Much thanks to all of you who also...

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. Basil will be greatly missed. We moved to North Carolina about a year and a half ago, and have made many trips back home to visit since then. Basil's barber shop was the first place we would stop so the kids could get their hair cut. We will never forget the compassion he showed to all. Rest in Peace.

Thank you to all who have left a message about Basil. It is obvious that he touched so many people throughout his life, and it is wonderful to hear about each and every story, keep 'em coming!

We will always remember you in your best times, Basil, and you will always have a most special place in my heart.

With love, your stepdaughter
Amy
