Not sure what to say?

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

Jerry and family,
Thank you for sending me a letter and a copy of the obituary. I want to express my condolences and share some thoughts. I was very fortunate to be able to listen to Basil's stories and to fly on the 909 with Basil in the Spring of 2014 in Dallas. He was a fascinating man and an inspiration. He later met my brother Mick and we have all shared many stories and photos. I saw Basil last year in Dallas and was hoping to see him again this year. I think about Basil often...

I am a volunteer pilot for The Collings Foundation on B-17 "9-0-9". I had the pleasure of meeting Basil for the first time last year in Denton, TX. What a wonderful man he was! He contributed so much in his life here on earth and he will be greatly missed!Frank Hale
