Had many opportunities to eat at the Port Austin AFB chow hall and Hildy was a kind man. My husband (who was stationed up there) and I were invited to hunt on his property. Very generous man. Sorry to hear of his passing. Debbie Petree

Met Hilde December 1963 at Port Austin Air Force Station. He was in Food Service. Going through the Mess Line he would ask you if you wanted your eggs With or Without. (The Shells)

Hildy was an awesome man. I remember him from when my father would take me to the mess hall on the air base in Port Austin. Hildy was very kind and would let me and mom raid his garden from time to time. God bless him and you and your family.
