Bayfield Smoak Jr.

I will miss Mr Smoak. He was a patient of mine since he moved to Mt Pleasant and it was my pleasure to help him at Piggly Wiggly. He had a wonderful attitude even though he had been through a lot after the loss of his wife.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Smoak's passing. He was a patient of mine - one of my FAVORITES! He always had a good story to tell and had a great sense of humor. We will miss seeing him. My condolences to his family.

For Pamela and Laura -- its been a long time since we were neighbors and our mothers were friends ( Elizabeth Farmer). I was sorry to learn of Bayfield's recent death - I use to see him with your mother and we would chat about "ole" times.
Your mother was very proud of your both and I know you will miss both of them in your life.

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Smoak's passing. I always enjoyed seeing him when he came to see me for blood work at the Roper outpatient lab. He was very generous always offering to buy me lunch and talk Citadel football. He will be missed.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences and sympathy for the loss of a wonderful husband, father, brother, neighbor and friend. "Uncle Bay" was a man with humor, grace and lots of love in his heart. He kept an eye on his neighbors and looked out for us as teenagers and as we grew into young adults. He will always be remembered fondly. We shall miss him.

My condolences to the family. I always enjoyed seeing Bayfield and Irene when visiting my parents across the road. Bayfield always saved excellent magazines for me, which I always appreciated. It was a pleasure to have known both of them. Sincerely, Terry

My condolences to Bayfield's family. I visited with Bayfield often after Irene's death. He was so very proud of his family and grateful for the things you did for him. May you find comfort that he is now at peace.
