Our thoughts and prayers are with Bea's entire family. May the memories of Bea give them peace in the days ahead.

To the family I send my deepest sympathy and condolences. Bea was an icon in Johnson County history. When I was mayor of Overland Park and we annexed Bea and Bob she called me and asked if I knew who she was. I said no. She said, well you will. I sure did. I respected Bea a great deal as well as Bob who served Johnson county so well.
