Not sure what to say?

As my youngest daughter begins 5th grade this morning my mind finally falls back to Mrs. Barrett. She was my 5th grade teacher at Glickman but she knew so much more than Math and English. She knew when I had a bad day at home. She knew when I was having a good day at school. I especially thank her for helping fuel a little friendly rivalry between me and a young lady named Esther Kim. That rivalry taught me a little about the spirit of competition but more than that how important it is for me...

Barrett Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Beatie. We are thinking about all of you at this difficult time.

'Beatie and Margaret', to my family and I these two names meant kindness, generosity, laughter and great hospitality, it is so very apt that two such wonderful ladies should now be together in Heaven as they were inseparable in life, our deepest condolence to the entire Barrett family, Eamon, Jackie, Eve-Marie and Jennifer Allen, Dublin, Ireland.

My sympathy to the Barrett Family. I had Miss Barrett as a teacher at Glickman School, about 50 years ago and remember her with great fondness.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of Bea Barrett. She was a wonderful woman and superb teacher. She has gone to join her sister, Margaret.
