age 78, the wife of Clarence Baskerville, passed away quietly in her sleep early Saturday morning, June 24, 2017. She was born January 1, 1939 to George and Ruby Pickett. The family invites friends for visitation and fellowship Friday, June 30, 2017 from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel, 102 - 6th Avenue S.W., Birmingham, Alabama 35211. Her going home celebration will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church, 1101 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive S.W., Birmingham, Alabama 35211. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery. Smith & Gaston Southside directing.

I met Ms. Bea and her sister, Ms. Gwen when I first started working at Southern Research in the credit union. They were both very sweet and friendly ladies who could always make me laugh about something!! I've missed them both since they retired some years ago, but I thank God for putting me in their paths because they are friends for a lifetime! We'll miss you Ms. Bea, but I'm so glad that you have your new body now!! No more pain and suffering!! We will see you again. Prayers for...
