Beatrice Holly McBride Bulson

Bulson, Beatrice Holly McBride Beatrice Holly was born on April 12, 1916 in Fulton County, Kentucky to Sally (Hammond) and James Hamilton Holly. On April 1, 1932, she married Ilar McBride and he preceded her in death. Beatrice had been a resident of Plymouth, MI for 47 years and she worked in nursing at St. Joseph Hospital, Ann Arbor until her retirement. In September 1984, she married Charles Bulson and moved to Chelsea; Charles preceded her in death. In March of 1996, she returned to Plymouth and remained there until November 2000 at which time she became a resident in the Independent Living Facility at the Hillside Terrace Retirement Center, Ann Arbor. Beatrice is survived by two sons, Jerry (Sheryl) McBride of Lachine, MI and James (Elaine) McBride of Ypsilanti, MI; a step-son, David (Mary Ellen) Bulson of Chelsea, MI; a brother, James Holly of Martin, TN; a sister, Lois Butler of Rome, GA; five grandchil dren; three step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Silva. Visitation will be held 1-8 p.m. Sunday at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, Plymouth, where services will be 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Bob Moulding officiating. Burial will follow at the Washtenong Memorial Park in Ann Arbor. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
