Dr. Covington and Family,
I share your loss. You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. I have fond memories of our years together at Alabama A&M University. Mrs. Covington was a sweet and charming person who brought such elegance to the position of "First Lady" at AAMU. Her love for the AAMU family was evidenced in all her actions. May God bless and comfort you. I am on TDY and do not have your address. I will contact you when I return to Huntsville in April.

I can only hope that your years of happiness and your many good memories will enable you to live with this sad loss. She will always be remembered fondly here on the "Hill" of Alabama A&M University. Take care and God bless.

Jean and I have fond memories of Mrs. Covington. She was a wonderful role model for her family, students, and friends. We loved seeing her work in so many areas of the Alabama A & M community as well as the Huntsville community. May God and His peace be very near.

Dr. Covington and Family: I share in your grief and sorrow. Mrs. Covington was the quintessential lady. I loved her spirit and can do attitude. She changed the spirit of A&M. We all joined in making the University a place of beauty. Mrs. Covington cared therefore we cared. She brought class to the University and to Huntsville. She was one to emulate.
