My family's cabin on Island Lake was one of the loves of my life. Bea and Maggie were such a lovely part of that experience. What wonderful women. Bea seemed a little gruff to me sometimes when I was a little girl and at first I was uncertain about her. I rather quickly came to see that she had a very soft heart.
