Beatrice R. Grim

Mrs. Grim was like a third grandmother to me and my sister, as she always opened her house and her heart for our company. She was one of the kindest, most sincere women that I have ever met. We are flooded with sorrow, yet are extremely grateful that she is not suffering any longer. Our hearts and prayers go out to her family and friends, especially Mr. Grim.
She holds a special place in my heart. Even though she is gone, she will NEVER be forgotten.

I remember Mrs. Grim as my second grade teacher at Valley View Elementary School. Firm is an excellent descriptor for her teaching style and fair is how she ran her classroom. We all knew she loved her chosen vocation. My memories of second grade are fond ones as I recall a sense of humor one had to be quick to catch. My condolences to the family.

Dear Uncle Clair,
Aunt Bea will be sorely missed but will live on fondly in my memories. I'm especially glad that you and she got to know my daughter, Kiri Joy, in the past few years. Kiri will also miss her. She still has your eagle and takes good care of it. Love to you.

Aunt Bea was an all loving person. She enjoyed our visits with the kids and always had kind words of encouragement for me. She was a joy to be around. She will be greatly missed!

Clair:
Bruce and I send our sincerest sympathies upon the loss of Beatrice. We recall the times that we had the opportunity to be with you both. The years in education spent with you, Clair, seem so distant from us, but be assured that we think of them with fondness. May God bless you.

Mrs. Grim was my 2nd grade teacher at Violet Hill, while she was firm & diligent as a teacher, if I recall correctly they lived on the hill by the school and we used to sled down multiple hills in her yard towards Tri-Hill Rd. She was very happy to see us having fun. My condolences to her family, she was a great teacher and a special part of growing up. I think she would be happy "spell check" was invented for me. :)

Beatrice was the closest thing to an aunt we had. My mother and father were both only children. Grimmy had lived with my grandparents as a young man and the Grims were like family. Always involved with young people Beatrice stayed young. She was so involved with Eastern Star-it meant so much to her--service to others was certainly a priority in her life.
