Not sure what to say?

Bea and I worked at Arthur Young in Detroit. She was in nursing and I worked in finance and business technology. Bea and I entered a joint proposal into a medical equipment company. Bea was my favorite and smartest college at Arthur Young. After newly 50 years I think still often think of her.

Dr. Kalisch's work is still moving forward. I'm working with multiple hospitals to gain new insights into missed nursing care, with her guidance from above. This work must carry on. We are grateful for her pioneering efforts.

Bea was a mentor and dear friend. She was first my Professor during doctoral studies at Michigan, teaching me to take qualitative learnings and move to quantitative studies. I learned so much from her. More recently, we collaborated on ways to study new virtual care delivery models using her tools. She was so giving and generous. I will miss our dinners and conversations so much. My condolences to her family. Until I see you again, Bea...

Not only was Bea a pioneer, she was a kind and caring person. I am grateful to call her a friend and colleague. My condolences to her family and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.

My condolences to Bea's children and family. She is remembered as a premier scientist, teacher, nurse who was a prolific writer and leader in our field. She is remembered also for her humor, laughter, and warm personal style. She was a strong advocate of faculty and students.

From Portugal, with love! Dear Professor, thanks for all!
