Beatrice A. O'Connell age 95 years of Media, Pa. on July 6, 2013, At Granite Farms Estates.
Born and raised in Maysville, West Virginia, she moved to Media, Pa. in 1950 where she resided for 63 years.
Mrs. O'Connell was a homemaker and worked for 12 years in the activities department at the Manchester House Nuring Facility in Media, Pa. She graduated from Petersburg High School in West Virginia. She was a long time member of Nativity B.V.M. Parish in Media, Pa. and belonged to AARP She enjoyed gardening, and was accomplished at needlework, hand crafts, and sewing.
Mrs. O'Connell was the wife of the late John D. O'Connell who died in 1995.
She is survived by her 2 sons; David (Barbara) of Springfield, Pa. and John ( Cheryl ) of West Chester, Pa. also survived by 6 grandchildren.
Service: Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Friday at Nativity B.V.M. Church 30 E. Franklin St. Media, Pa
Calling will be Thursday evening 7 - 9 PM at The Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home 15 E. Fourth St. Media, Pa.
Burial: St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester, Pa.

Bea was my neighbor on Front Street for over 15 years. After I moved, we continued to visit her on Front Street and at Granite Farms whenever we could. A great friend and neighbor, we'll miss her. Condolences to the family.
