Angelus Funeral Home - San Antonio Obituary

Beatrice Buquor Trisko, passed away on March 20, 2023 at the age of 98 years old.  Her parents were Alfredo and Lolita Perales Buquor.  She was the last surviving of her seven siblings, who were: Susie Placier, Hortencia Huerta, Anita Jimenez, Delia Palacios, Marina Monteleone, Robert Buquor and Hector Buquor.  Beatrice is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She leaves a lifetime of memories with her quick wit and hilarious jokes.  She was the highlight of many family and friends gatherings.  She was an amazingly beautiful person with many talents.  She knew how to play the piano, guitar, accordion, harmonica and sung many beautiful songs.  She danced many Mexican Folklorico dances with her many costume dresses.  For many years she and her husband John were volunteers in entertaining the residents at many nursing homes.  She may be gone but not forgotten.  May her soul rest in peace.

Family would like to thank Dr. Mark Prange and the nursing staff at St. Francis Nursing Home for their exceptional care of Beatrice.

Per her wishes, she requested no memorial services.

Not sure what to say?

She was a distant cousin and was very welcoming and kind when I contacted her out of the blue by letter in 1991, to introduce myself as an English "offshoot". She wrote about the family and about her and husband John's entertainment of audiences in old people's homes, with a group who did singing and dancing. We corresponded for about ten years and exchanged birthday and Christmas cards, before losing touch when she went into a home after the death of her husband, John. I had no address for...

What a sweet and beautiful mother in law. Always a smile, always loving and caring.
