Beatriz Blanco, 19, of Deming entered eternal life Wednesday, May 2, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident. She was born October 1, 1987 in Las Cruces to Ricky and Cecylia Gonzalez Blanco. Beatriz was home schooled and a laborer at Proper Foods, Inc.
Survivors include one son, Jose Carlos Blanco of Deming; her father, Ricky Blanco of Las Cruces; her mother, Cecylia Gonzalez Blanco; two brothers, Ricky Jr. and Roman Blanco; one sister, Crystal Gale Blanco all of Deming. Other survivors include her paternal grandparents, Luis and Beatriz Blanco of Las Cruces; three aunts, Maria, Angie and Lupita Gonzalez all of Deming as well as numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roman and Martha Gonzalez.
Visitation for Beatriz will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2007 in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral, 1240 S. Espina where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Family and Friends will join together to celebrate the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2007 in the same church with Reverend René Espejel officiating. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in Masonic Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
Serving as casket bearers will be Francisco Gutierrez, Jesus Lozano, Jose and Miguel Angel Balderas, Victor Nuñez and Luis Blanco Jr.
Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels, 300 E. Boutz Road, Las Cruces; 527-2222.

Uncle Ricky, Your are the Rock and Foundation for your children continue to be strong. I'm sorry Tio I couldn't stay longer to be there for you. Just wanted to let you know that I am at peace because when I last spoke to Betty her last words were "I love you cousin" see you later. Yes, will see each other again. Continue to be strong for JC and he will grow up to be a good Dad like you are. Love You will all my heart.
