Beatriz Roederer

Beloved Beatriz, I think of you often and remember your kindness, dignity, wisdom and loving, amazing nature! I miss you, Beatriz!

She was a wonderful woman, smart, wise and cultured. It was an honor to know her as her pastor at Fairbanks Lutheran.

Beatriz was a wonderful neighbor to my parents and a kind and generous presence for my children. I´m grateful our paths crossed.

Gladys snd I were saddened to hear of Beatrice Roederer´s death. Sha snd her husband were both leaders of our wonderful geophysical Institute. She would entertain guests and always make them feel important and welcome and she invoked herself in many community activities in Fairbanks. Not only was she a charming hostess but she could snd did talk science. We will miss her friendly face that was always welcoming and smiling.

A toast to a very wise remarkable and strong woman, Beatriz Roederer. I was blessed with being her caregiver early mornings for many years. Beatriz was gracious, wise and dignified and we had many interesting conversations in those wee morning hours. Her last years were challenging but she seemed to accept things with equanimity and make the best of each situation. I pray she is exploring the glories of this vast universe and filled with wonder, awe, love and delight. Love you, Beatriz!...
