Not sure what to say?

I met Bebe as a struggling graduate student in her graduate statistics course. She was a great teacher who cared about her students. Dr. Lavin was respected and admired by all fortunate to meet her.
I hope your memories of happy times will be with you.

James
& Andrew, I just wanted to share with you both, that your mother
was an incredible person whom touched my life in a very positive way.
She regularly shared boastful stories of you both as well as her
grandchildren. It was a pleasure to sit and visit with her all the way
until her brave end. I will continue to think of Bebe and your father
often. Best Wishes, Jay Zedak / Bug Buster

My wife and I were both graduate students' of Bebe's toward the end if her career. She helped us both with her time and generosity. As I look at my bookshelves I still see several books that she passed along to me when she retired (many still have with her name written on the edge). She will certainly be missed.

Bebe was a dedicated educator, had an admirable set of professional and personal values, and was a close friend. Over the years we served together on many project at Kent State while active members of the faculty and administration. After retirement, Bebe served on the Planning Committee and as Secretary of the Kent State Retired Faculty Association. She made a difference and will be missed. Dorothy and I send out sincere condolences.
