Becky Kay Kramer, age 63, passed away on November 22, 2024, at Great Plains Health with her devoted and loving family right by her side. Born a twin, she was welcomed into the world by her parents, Bill and Anna (Arensdorf) Melvin on May 28, 1961, in Sutherland.
Becky attended North Platte High School and received her GED later in life, in the early 90s. In 1980, Becky began dating a childhood friend, Art Kramer, and the two were wed on October 7, 1983, in Stapleton. The couple made their home in Stapleton and together, they raised three children, Alvin J. “AJ”, Darcie, and Jennifer. When the children were young, Becky worked as a daycare provider and eventually took jobs in different customer service areas, including restaurants and hotels. She worked for in home health care briefly before deciding to be a homemaker due to the birth of her first grandchild. Family was the center of Becky’s world; she would do absolutely anything to help a child or grandchild when they needed it. She was an avid crocheter, making dozens of blankets, Afghans, pot holders, among many other treasured items. She and Art loved to dance, and she was enthusiastic about bowling and playing bingo. Becky always had kindness to give away and was the trusted advice giver when someone needed help. The relationship she held with the Lord was unbreakable and a great model for her children and grandchildren.
Survivors of Becky include her husband, Art Kramer; children, AJ Kramer, Darcie (Heath) Krauter, and Jennifer (Roman Reyes) Davis; mother, Anna Melvin; grandchildren, Madison Eggleston, Lindsay (Koltar Rahn) Newman, Natalie Newman, Koy Kramer, Colby Hubert, Bill Kramer; great grandchild, Remington Jo Rahn; siblings, Jack (Jodi) Arensdorf, Charlene (Stanley) Freeman, Donna (Steve) Wright, Travis (Jennifer) Melvin, Jason (Denise) Melvin, Brad Halcott, and Shane Halcott; sister-in-law, Donna Melvin; siblings-in-law, Dan (Kristy) Kramer, Alvin (Peggy) Kramer, Rolland (Jan) Kramer, Marie (Layne) Pyzer, Mike (Peggy) Fox, Steve (Alice) Paul, Darwin Paul, and Brenda Monroe; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Those that preceded her in death include her father, Bill; brother, Billy; sister, Darlene; parents-in-law, Robert & Hazel Kramer, and Doris Kramer; sister-in-law, Anita Engel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Reverend Sorenson as Celebrant. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 12 PM to 7 PM, family will be present from 5 PM to 7 PM with a rosary beginning at 7 PM at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home.
