Sending my love and condolences. Becky kindly shuttled me and Abby from school to swim practice and ensured we were fed and did homework in between.

Becky took one of my classes at the U - "Mina Loy and Friends" Becky's passion for the avant-garde was infectious -- what a bright open spirit. I am lucky to have had her pass through my life.

Becky was remarkable in every way: a brilliant student, a fabulous presence, a kan extremely community-oriented and giving person, a uniquely astute observer of the universe, a besotted grandmother, a loving mother and sister. We were so very lucky to have her in our Creative Writing Program at the University of Utah for a while -- she was a tremendous gift to any classroom, any meeting, any event. I was so sad to come across this today. Becky and I were buddies growing up in the avenues spending time in each others homes during high school. She was a quick, bright mind and her mom and I became quite close. Her parents and mine were close for years as well. I am so sorry for your loss, Brook, Joey, Nan and Tom.
