Unfortunately, we only came to know Bela in the last couple of years. Apparently he was quite a character in his younger days! He was always so sweet to us...he concocted special toys for our kitties and made sure we had hungarian peppers in the garden. We will miss him a lot. You are all in our thoughts.

I knew Bela at COMSAT, and being an amateur radio operator, I was fascinated by his story of being a "ham" in Hungary when the Soviet Union put down the revolt in, I think, 1956.
