Belinda Sue Gray NINETY SIX -- Belinda Sue Hawkins Gray, 57, of 106 Panther Drive, died on November 21, 2014 at her home. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Junior Dick Hawkins and the late Susie Mae Lewis. She was a member of Mays United Methodist Church, where she served as an usher. She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels. She was a member of the Women's Aide Society No. 25. She was preceded in death one daughter, Linda M. Hawkins and one brother, Charles "Rick" Hawkins, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Kendra Gray and Shantia "Taye" Gray, both of Greenwood; four brothers, William Hawkins, Sr. and Terry (Louise) Hawkins, Sr., both of Ninety Six, Rufus James (Annie) Hawkins and George Hawkins, Sr., both of Greenwood; three sisters, Gloria Chappelle, Annie (Michael) Hawkins Williams and Brigitte (Kenneth) Chappelle, all of Ninety Six; one grandchild, Kaniya Griffin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Services are 1 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Mays United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Joseph Caldwell. The body will be placed in the church at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in the Ninety Six Community Cemetery. Public viewing will be from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2014. The family is at the home of a daughter, Kendra Gray, 304 Acorn Lane (Mill Pond Subdivision) here in Greenwood. Online condolences may be sent to [email protected].
