FLORENCE — Belinda Thompson Williams, 57, died July 28, 2006.

Graveside services will be Wednesday August 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Byrd Cemetery in Timmonsville. She was born in Florence County the daughter of the late William Duncan and Janie White Thompson. She was a graduate of Olanta High School.

She was married to the late Glen Williams.

Surviving are two sons; Wesley Duncan Hopkins, Charlotte, NC, Jason Floyd, Olanta, SC; two daughters, Tina Garrett (Tim) Florence, Jessica Plummer, Myrtle Beach; one brother James Thompson (Theresa), Patrick, SC, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Belinda T. Williams Fund, C/O Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, 4210 W. Palmetto Street, Florence, SC 29501.

The family will receive friends at the home of Tina Garrett, 2702 Ascot Drive, Florence, SC. Tuesday after noon.

Layton-Anderson Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Hey Cuz, Jimmy, this is Lenni here. Aunt Iris called me today with the very sad news about Belinda. I understand the funeral is tomorrow. I am so sorry I can't be there with you.
