Not sure what to say?

We still remember Belle & Egon and the positive influence they had on our lives, growing up.

We remember, fondly, Belle's intelligence, energy and enthusiasm and what a good team she and Egon were. We're sure she's still missed by all the children, grandchildren and friends.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Dear Andy, Vicki, Valerie and families,

I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Her loss certainly does bring an end to an era in Chambersburg. The wonderful article I just finished reading reminded me of all of your mother's treasured accomplishments, but it doesn't say enough about the great love she had for the three of you and your father. She always beamed with such pride when talking about her family to me. I know she loved you deeply, and as long as we all have our...

Andy, Vickie, and Valerie, How many times I sang the songs my mother, your mother, & Mrs. Lyon conjured up! I can only imagine what musical trouble those three are causing in heaven! LOL! So sorry to hear of your loss! You and your extended families are all in my prayers!

Vickie, Valerie and Andy,
I was saddened to hear about your mother, (Wednesday after returning to work). Your mother was very special to me. I always enjoyed our talks on Friday mornings as I did her hair. I was enlightened by a lot of things during our talks. I will truly miss her. She was such a "True Lady". My condolences to you all. God Bless. Vickie Group

In the 10 years I knew Belle, she was always a charming lady.

To the whole Gartenberg family, Harold and I would like express our gratitude for having the privilege of having known Belle. We shared many conversations about the arts and many other topics...she was a role model for growing old gracefully... we will miss her. Sincerely, Michele and Harold Shapiro

Vicki, Valerie, and Andy,
My deepest condolences. I remember well my annual summer visits to visit you and Aunt Belle and Uncle Egon. Those visits were one of the highlights of my summers, and your mom was one of the reasons. She and your dad were so much fun to talk with and she always had something fun for us to do. I very much enjoyed reading your mom's obituary. I learned so much about her. I certainly can believe she was one of the "Grande Dames" of Chambersburg!
