Not sure what to say?

Karen and Family, Its sad to hear to hear of the passing of Ben . What a great man . Though its been many years it seems like yesterday .The fond memories are priceless.I still tell friends of Ben getting up in the middle of the night to fish before going to work all day.I know who's teaching fishing and cooking in heaven. Love Cousin Wally

I had my braces done by Dr. Addiego when I was 12, in 1962. He gave me a white doctor's shirt that looked like the one Dr. Ben Casey wore (the tv show) because my mother and I thought he looked like him and we both loved the show. Funny how you remember things like that - shows how nice he was. I'm sending my deepest sympathies to the family. Thought you'd like to know he was remembered by the children he took care of, even though it was almost 40 years ago.

To the Addiego Family:
We are so sorry to hear about your loss. It has been years since we have seen you, but Dr. Addiego has made a lasting impression on us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this tough time.

Dr. Addiego, You will be truly missed by myself. Being friends with Biagina since we were 9 years old and you always treated me like one of your own children. I have always had an enormous amount of respect for you and your family. You have raised a loving and accepting family that I know you were extremely proud of and you should be. Although I haven't seen you in many years, you were thought of on a daily basis and I wish I could have said this to you in person, but thank you for all the...

In reading my words on Ben's life, I wondered why I hadn't spoken first of his fierce love of his wife. I realized it was because when one thought of Ben, Karen was automatically a part of the thought. They were one, in a romance that grew as time went on. It was a beautiful thing to see.

Ben was a Collingswood High school football hero of mine way back when ... Ben was a great athlete. Collingswood went crazy when, in college, he scored the first touch down against Army in years. He was also a Lifeguard at
the old Collingswood swimming pool. Ben saved a girl from drowning and resuscitated her with the old arm lift method. She was later to become my sister-in-law. As I said He will always be the hero I remember. Ben was one of those blessings we were proud to have known....
