Not sure what to say?

I KNEW YOUR GRANDFATHER WHO WENT TO LEHIGH WITH MY DAD, JOHN BAILLIE, AND THROUGH YOUR MOTHER WHO I DATED BACK IN THE EARLY 60'S. I TOO WRESTLED FOR LEHIGH, HOWEVER , NOT TO THE CAPACITY OF BEN. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE BISHOP FAMILY.

Today was the first day I had the energy to really start talking a little bit with the kids about Umps and the extraordinary week some of us just experienced in Bethlehem, and it occurred to me that the things that come to mind to each of us in the days and months ahead will be tremendously important, and worth sharing with all the Bishop/Popovsky/Yetman/Michaelsons. Sending our heartfelt sympathy on the death of our longtime family friend, Ben Bishop. I remember him so fondly over the years. My parents often told us that Wilma and Ben were responsible for their meeting and falling in love. Didn't we have great Christmas parties with all of our Bethlehem families together as we were growing up? We send our love to Anne, Barbara and Buzz, and a big hug to Wilma, too.
So fondly,
Kathy Gaines Welsh and family
