Ben Lee Clark, 69, of Mount Vernon, WA passed away suddenly on March 29, 2021.  He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Harold and Anna Mae Clark. The family moved to Washington in 1969.  Ben attended Bellingham schools as a child.


Ben was an avid fisherman and was often found at Baker Lake, Paragin Lake, or Ruffus Woods.  He also enjoyed camping. 


Ben is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Anna Mae Clark, brother Roy Clark, first wife Cynthia Clark, sister in law Georgette Clark, brother’s in law Arnold Masengale and Adolph Nieshe, as well as his aunt Charlotte Bland.


Ben is survived by his beloved life partner Marge Weidman, her three children; Alice Willis, Kelly Nichols, and Nick Nichols and their children Juan, Jason, Jonathan, and Nick Jr.  He is also survived by his only daughter Christine (Mauro) Rodelas, grandchildren Allison (Dylan) Hampton and Amber (Jordan) Partlow as well as great-grandchildren Mikayla, Jaxon, Maximus, Kaison, Coleson, and Madisyn.  He also leaves behind his siblings Chet (Gary) Parker, David Parker, Ruth Masengale, Judy (Edwin) Nichols, Joan Smidt, John (Andrea) Clark, Mark (Gemma) Clark, numerous nieces and nephews and his go to guy, his uncle Robert (Carol) Bland.


A memorial service will be held in June at a place to be determined at a later date.


And to his special nephew Andrew…. “Keep teaching the family to fish while I am gone.
