I am so very sorry to hear the passing of Mr. Hom who was my boss. He was kind and considerate. He and his family used to come visit Hawaii but for the past few years we have not been in touch. My deepest symthy to Pat and the family.

Coffee, coffee Ben would say. I miss our morning coffee with Ben at Mel's drive in on Lombard Street. He always picked up the tab, classy guy to the end.

I knew Ben back in the 70's - I got my first job at his S&L on Clement Street. My thoughts an prayers are w/Pat an his family.

It is difficult to think that Ben is gone. To me he was one of the most vibrant, fun and larger than life person that I have known since I was a teenager. I shall miss him.
