Ben was definitely the best Scout Executive I had the opportunity to work with at the Longhorn Council in my 40-plus years of scouting. He inspired me to stick with scouting. Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of this tremendous leader.

Ann,
My condolences. I enjoyed Ben very much when I worked in Hartford CT., Bethlehem PA. and Worcester MA.
He will be missed and the Boy Scouts of America is much better because of Ben. May he rest in Peace.

Ben is gone but not forgotten. His legacy is assured as he most certainly made his mark in Scouting in the USA and abroad, and his contributions to our movement are many. Ben personally helped me in my time of need, and I will never forget his advice and assistance. He was a giant in Scouting. As a public speaker, Ben's booming voice was indeed inspirational. He will be missed. My condolences to Ann and the Love family.

Ben left his mark not only on the BSA but on world Scouting. His influence was felt in every area of the program and continues to this day. Ben's 'gone home' and will be missed by many.
