Ben McCarley M.D.

Every time I see Dr.Mc Carley´s face I see kindness. Such a wonderful man!

Dr. Mc Carley was a wonderful man! He will be missed. I was devastated when he retired, he was the best pediatrician ever!

oh Dr McCarley! Such a wonderful doctor! I was a frequent visitor to his office as a child, as I had allergies and had to get a shot twice a week. I would walk in by myself while my mom waited in the car, help myself to my vial in the fridge, give it to Mary the nurse and wait until she was ready. Dr McCarley would come by on his way to another room and always greet me with a smile and a pat on the head. He always gave me two of the lollipops with the looped handle, one for me and one for my...

We were both fortunate to learn from and work for Dr. McCarley at different times from the '60s to '90s. He was a brilliant physician and a warm and wonderful friend to so many. We send our love and sympathy to his family.

The news of Dr. McCarley's death brings much sadness, but much gratitude for the impact he and Alice had on our family. We moved to Dallas in 1970 for my husband, Larry Patton, to join the pediatric group started by Dr. McCarley. Ben and Alice took us under their wings and became dear friends. Together they were two of the kindest, loving, true Christians I ever met. Love and prayers to the family.

To the family...my deepest sympathy for the loss of you dad. Now Bondy & McCarley are partners again. I loved Dr. "P", or Dr. Ben, as I liked to refer to him. Your family and my family have been intertwined for so many years...I'm guessing the grandchildren I babysat are adults with kids themselves now. What a beautiful life your dad had, it was a privilege to know him. Take good care of yourselves!

Ben was born on January 13, as was my Mother, Gertrude Petrovsky Veleba, 1/13/1911. Ben and Alice were treasured friends indeed. They came to visit my late husband, Dr. Robert Bondy, the day after his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer was made, and twice after that. May Ben and Alice Rest In Peace and may their memory be a blessing.

He was a great man, who will be missed by many. I will miss him, but I know he will be in a much better place It makes me sad that I won't get to see his smiling face again. He leaves you all a high bar to attain for the rest of your days. God bless you for all your days

As a neighbor for many years, I learned quickly that Dr. McCarley was a noble example of humanity. He was also a good friend to my family. Through my sister, I know Hannah the best, but I mourn with the entire McCarley clan. This, even as I celebrate his exemplary life.
