Not sure what to say?

I first met Ben when he worked at his Dad's Richfield Gas Station in San Gabriel. He was year older than me and a big guy in high school. We crossed paths much later in life in Boy Scout Troop 358 in San Marino. Ben was a happy, supportive scout dad and was always great to have on a camp out. He was simply a good sport and a good dad to his son Mike and a fantastic cook. Boys without fathers present always looked to him for help or direction. He left good memories to all who knew him. Adios,...

Ben, you are missed by everyone who knew you. You are a great guy, an outstanding person, a fun person to talk to, and it was my honor to have known you as a friend, through the classic car collecting world. May God bless you and your family for all eternity Ben. Take care, Barry

It was my privilege to work with Ben in Scouting. He was a very engaged leader on the Executive Board of the Los Angeles Area Council during my tenure as Scout Executive. Ben exemplified the principles of Scouting in all aspects of his life and he will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Ben.

I am greatly saddened by Ben's passing. Ben you were always a friend and inspiration to me and I credit you with helping me discover how a man could be successful and honest. God Bless you Ben.

I'm very sorry for your loss. May God comfort you during this time.

You were a great person from the time I/we met you in Chapman Woods to my last conversation with you at T&T. Such a nice person to have known

Ben was a customer of mine for many years at the Home Depot. Always cheerful, optimistic, and happy even when Judy was facing severe health challenges. He would always greet me enthusiastically and we would chat about cars and the Salt Flats. My sincere condolences to the family and Judy. He will be missed by me as well. A super man.

My sincere condolences, find comfort in the God who is close to the brokenhearted

I'm deeply saddened to hear of Ben's sudden and early passing. Wishing the family strength and peace - till you see him again....
I had the pleasure of working for Ben for several years in the late 80's and early 90's. While I learned a lot from him, and had a great time at Zelman Development, it was his reputation in the community for his integrity and business ethics that made the biggest impact in my life. He was one of a kind employer and a great example of a principled man in...
