Not sure what to say?

I still think about Ben from time to time. Our life on the road, attending food conferences, and have a steak at Del Friscos. You are so missed!

Ben and I shared much on the business side of life, and in our personal life we also shared our lives over many dinners. One "fun" adventure we shared while traveling to the food shows was to eat at every Del Frisco´s in the US. We did not visit all the restaurants together; however, I did finish the task of dining at all the Del Frisco´s thinking always of our time together sharing life and solving the problems of the day. I still miss the dear friend!

I still think about Benjy when I pass the Tabatchnick soups in any market & his name does come up in conversations including at our 50th high school reunion. Gone too soon but long remembered, & his memory is still a blessing.

Ben was such a good friend to many - but to me he was one of my best friends. I remain rich for having his friendship.

Rita - I often think of Ben, you, and your kids. I miss our Del Frisco meals and visiting about other life events. I hope you are doing well.

I knew the great soup, but not the great man. It's aroma was a costar in Brian Friel's Afterplay, which just closed at Irish Rep in Manhattan. Lovely.
R.I.P

I was Ben's artist in 1987 and '88. I have thought about Ben many times over the years, and I am very sad to hear of his passing. I wanted to send my condolences to the Tabatchnick family. Shalom, abundant blessings, and rest peacefully, Benji.

Dear Rita and family,
I have never met you but heard so many beautiful things about you from Ben.
He had a smile that lit up a room and everyone was instantly his friend.
My deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers go out to the family and dear friends.
Ben will be sadly missed by everyone.
Ben was an inspiration to all those who had the pleasure of coming in contact with such a wonderful person.
Rest in peace my great childhood friend.

I just heard the news of Ben's passing. I worked through the years closely with Ben and helping him with the formulas for his government projects. He had a wonderful sense of humor and passion for the business. We talked about the kids a lot as we both had children in college at the time. He spoke with such pride and love for his kids. He was a wonderful, sincere person and I send my condolences to his family- Karen
