Ben was one of the finest young men I met at West End High School and Berney Points Baptist Church. He was always very active in most of the Church's activities for the youth. When a name comes back to you after 56 years and all you have are good memories of a kind Christian young man, his life made a tremendous impact on many people.

My husband and I both worked with Ben at IBM. We spent much time together in NY in meetings and traveling back and forth to air ports and car rental places. He was always a kind, gentle, upstanding person and a pleasure to be with. He often spoke of Janice and their time together and simple pleasures like their having breakfast together at McDonald's.
