Not sure what to say?

Dear Patrick and Julie- I just want to thank you for opening your hearts and your home in sharing Benjamin's life with us. As you cared for Benjamin through his illness, your beautiful example of unconditional love, strength, courage and perseverance has forever changed the hearts and lives of our very large extended family. The special way that Benjamin demonstrated pure delight in loving each one of us with his smiles, kisses and "two-handed" hugs will forever be a sweet memory of an...

Julie and Patrick,
Just wanted to thank you for hosting the memorial service for Benjamin on Christmas Eve. The decorating of the tree with ornaments made or picked out with Benjamin in mind was special, indeed. I was impressed with how much Benjamin touched each of our lives and in different ways. It seemed that the ornaments each represented a unique part of Benjamin. What a beautiful tree that you have to cherish.
As we approach the first anniversary of his death, I hope that you...

I miss bath time, Daddy time in the basement, breakfast in the morning, bath time as you always tried to extend your time in the tub and your exuberance when I got you out of the tub. I miss stopping at the mirror afterwards so that we could both enjoy seeing "Beautiful Benjamin Boy" and I miss taking you, freshly bathed, back to Momma where you really wanted to be. I miss smelling your clean hair after bath time. I miss getting hugs from you and kissing your huge cheeks. I miss your...

Dear Patrick and Julie,
You and all of your family members are in my prayers as you mourn the loss of Benjamin. With each passing day continue to tell stories of Ben ~ this will help to keep his life and spirit alive for you and for all those who grieve at this time.
Peace,

Dear Julie and Patrick, May God hold you close and give you strength. I didn't know Benjamin, but the pictures of him tugged at my heart. May you know peace. You are in my prayers and those of the students I teach.

My son, Kevin and I are friends with Benjamin’s Aunt Rachel. We pray for you intently, we ask God to give peace and strength for Benjamin’s parents during this painful time. I know that my brother Kevin (died at age 3) is welcoming all those young angels, like Benjamin, into heaven. God Bless.

Dear Ben,
I miss you madly.
Love, Uncle Pete
